While most winter retreats and ski resorts go for a more rustic vibe this stunning house exudes an opulent aura by bringing together a multitude of textures colors and surfaces to paint a brilliant picture. Large glass windows ensure that the view outside becomes a natural part of the indoors and that each changing season brings along with it a colorful and vibrant new backdrop.

Architects of the villa have employed both concrete and glass extensively to bring in the urbane appeal while the use of wood has been kept to a minimum. With the living area and the bedrooms offering unabated 270 degree views of the gorgeous landscape all around House Lombardo is well and truly a dream home to drool over!

The lowest floor is the Ski Room where there are lockers a powder room a wall of ski-boot warmers and a small enclosed ski repair room tucked in the corner where you can hone and wax your skis near the Guest Laundry Room. From this lower level you can ski directly onto the slopes.

Many loft spaces feature an industrial style that includes exposed ducts brick walls and original windows in all of their imperfect glory. Yet our first featured loft is anything but rough around the edges. In fact this space styled by Tom Stringer Design Partners boasts an elegance that takes loft living to an upscale level.

The living room then connects to the outdoor deck without any interruptions. You can just as easily recline by the pool as you do indoors. A rectangular tunnel that serves as the overall structure of the living room lets in ample lighting and natural ventilation.

In an effort to create a community within the forest the designers imagined a single plan for all the houses that brings together unity giving the residents both privacy from the outer world while preserving a wholesome amount of intimacy. From the photos it can be assumed the buildings have met and exceeded all expectations.
