The design studio built four houses – which was out of the request of the client – strategically using every corner on the plot of land. That way they revealed the true magnificence of the surrounding landscape and atmosphere.
The living room then connects to the outdoor deck without any interruptions. You can just as easily recline by the pool as you do indoors. A rectangular tunnel that serves as the overall structure of the living room lets in ample lighting and natural ventilation.
An open floor plan features the main living area the kitchen and the dining areas which are demarcated using pedant lights and a deft partition wall that doubles as a functional display. Grey and white dominate the color palette of the home with warm wooden accents adding visual warmth. A generous terrace allows you to further take in the sweeping views of Lake Washington while you spend some dreamy summer evenings admiring the waning shades of twilight!
The lower level is clad in chic pristine white with a living room dining area and a fabulous kitchen connected in an open floor plan. Hand-scraped oak floors and pops of color here and there perfectly complement this glossy white lacquered look.
On this floor there is an Entry Foyer Powder Room Kitchen Butler’s Pantry and Dining room that opens up to a large exterior covered patio deck (that easily accommodates 50+ guests) and a super-sized Living Room. The Master Bedroom with its own fireplace the Master Bathroom with a shower for 6 people a large Home Office Mudroom and Laundry Room are also situated on this floor.
An architectural masterpiece overlooking spectacular mountain panoramas Zinc House stuns with its dynamic architectural language. The name explores the handcrafting qualities of zinc – this material lends its charm to the whole building creating a unique architectural display.
