Instead of starting from scratch the architects converted the existing living areas into cozy bedrooms and other private spaces while a brand new wing was added to accommodate a new living room dining area and kitchen. Opening up into the yard this new extension is clad in Australian Hardwood while a metal cladding lends able support. The design is simple efficient and reminds us of prefab metallic homes. Large sliding glass doors connect this entire area with the yard in a seamless manner.

An art gallery with sleek minimal design sits on the opposite side of the spacious pool house that offers unabated views of the lake thanks to the extensive use of glass. The interior is covered in teak floors plaster walls and a wood ceiling to give it a peaceful and organic ambiance.

The plants interesting bath products wall art and wooden floors in the bathroom add unique flair reinforcing the fact that while this loft may be industrial it truly is an artistic space!
The beautiful combination of contrasting textures starts with the façade of the home which features a glass and white cement exterior for the ground floor and a warm reclaimed wood surface for the second floor.
