The interior is clad in cool neutral colors with white and grey taking up much of the space. A sleek and stylish living room a contemporary kitchen and an elegant dining room are all combined in an open floor plan. A moat-like water feature that surrounds the house offers a sense of security even while enhancing the dramatic look of the place.
My favorite piece is the custom 14′ long chandelier over the dining table which I designed and had fabricated specifically for this project. It was hand-cast to resemble a large tree branch with clusters of quartz crystals and tiny LED lights.
Jamaica Barstools by DWR add to the industrial look of the kitchen which features wooden cabinetry and subway tiles: Wooden beams exposed pipes and brick walls highlight the bedroom. See the divider behind the bed? This piece doubles as a headboard and a wardrobe!
A stunning rain shower from Dornbracht and a laid-back and soothing Japanese bath house complete the spa section of this amazing house. A fully equipped gym further ensures that you have everything you need to relax rejuvenate and replenish at this remarkable escape.
The most striking feature of this stylish luxury retreat is the inviting infinity pool nestled in one of its upper levels. With the weather in the region staying pleasant for the better part of the year owners of the place are bound to more spend time outdoors than indoors.
The crystals make the fixture look like it was left out in the snow and is as if the grand pine trees living outside the windows had begun to grow indoors. The fixture was designed to visually bring the outside into the interior and can be seen for miles away on the snowy mountaintop.
Its proximity to Lake Tahoe the scenic landscape outside and the comfy interior combine to make your stay here unforgettable. While wood and glass dominate the front elevation the interior also uses stone in an elegant way to lend both textural and visual balance to the home.
