A great example of modern minimalism and Japanese design the T-House in Kyoto has been put together by the creative minds from Atelier Boronski. The house favors an interior based mostly on black and white with concrete walls that are beautifully finished turning this vast space into a real spectacle.
An interplay of neutral and soft color tones paints the walls. The interior decor of the house was selected to represent a more modern and high-class lifestyle while exercising a magnitude of minimalism at the same time. Entering the house is in other words exploring uncharted territories of comfort and luxury. But in efforts to maintain the level of energy nature prescribes wood flooring and nature-themed furniture were brought in to flirt with the home’s urban chicness.
However the surprise feature of the house is found beneath the lower floor as a partially hidden level underneath contains two additional bedrooms along with a well-equipped home office. Carefully placed glass windows and skylights throughout the house offer ample natural ventilation while the beautifully lit backyard provides a spacious elegant gathering area for a fun party or two!
An open living room a large dining area and a trendy ergonomic kitchen are housed on the same level as the patio and offer equally remarkable ocean views. With its incredible glass walls the bedroom is another showstopper that ensures the owners of the Rockledge Residence wake up to the sight of deep blue waters every single morning.
Perched atop a steep slope that offers unobstructed views of this summer home was designed by CCS Architecture to make the most of the narrow lot that it occupies. Dubbed the this gorgeous retreat is spread across three lavish levels that are all clad in pleasing neutral tones.
Large glass windows and doors connected the upper levels seamlessly with the extravagant terraces walkways and patios outside. The interior of the house matches the panoramic views outside in its grandeur as plush decor and contemporary design style win you over.
The ambiance of the home is inviting and unassuming creating a sense of serenity the moment you step in. Unlike many other houses the master suite kids’ bedrooms with bunk beds and guest rooms occupy the lower level of the residence while the top two floors hold the public spaces. This was done to ensure that the living areas got the best possible views while the bedrooms combined a smart blend of privacy and openness.
